Yes, yes, yeeeessss, at blooming long last it is now our turn for a proper covering of snow and I can post a few snowy pictures on the blog. Our smallish south west, coastal town woke up to a white world this morning. A very rare occurrence in this part of the UK. The children are thrilled because their schools have closed which has never happened in their lifetime before. My school's boiler has broken down too which has meant that there is no heating; so I have had 2 extra days holiday. We are a happy house at the moment. Cold but happy. Now are you ready for some snowy pictures - real snow and not just pictures of covers of magazines taken this very same day a year ago? It is almost like a real snow 'ta-da' on my blog. You can tell I'm excited can't you!
Right here we go..
(you can see I have a thing about tree branches and berries!)
and back to our garden.
And behind the scenes
Pity those who came with me on the snowy walk.
I stopped at every snow covered berry and hedge and could be heard constantly repeating, "Ooh, it's going to look like a Soulemama blog today!" with a wild look in my eyes: which actually I later discovered was my mascara - it had run all down my face. I bet those of you that have snow on a regular basis never go out into the snow and wind without waterproof mascara on, or smudge-proof at least. See I told you we don't have snow often. And here's a picture of my Dad getting cross with me for stopping all the time to take photos.
Well, I've got to make the most of it, don't I?
