How beautiful is that Viola? Very. In real life it was black and so velvety looking. I was very tempted to buy a pot and them plant them in some tea cups. But I didn't. I had spent enough already on plants so I walked past them - that's after trying to capture their beauty with my camera.
I took another trip to Hill House Nursery yesterday to stock up on Stocks; Sweet Peas; Sweet Williams; and Foxgloves (my favourites after Hollyhocks). Again, the place worked it's magic as I wandered in and out of the giant greenhouses.
and up and down the paths, pausing to read the plant labels and then trying to decide which were the best plants to put in my trolley.
And you'll never guess what? I'm going back today with my dear friend Fiona who has never been before. So those sweet little Violas might just not escape this time!
