Here it is all finished and ready to use! I have this funny feeling that perhaps I have built this whole episode up abit too much and you all were expecting something abit more... well... special! My main point was that doing something as ordinary as this still took ages to complete!
Worse thing is it looks a bit out of focus - and it is a sunny day so I don't know what happened there! This side is intended to be the front - the fabric is an discontinued Laura Ashley called 'Ditsy' and I am making a few cushions to go on our bed so that is why I am sort of following a theme with the colours.

This was intended to be the back but I think it might be nicer than the front - still that's the beauty of it, I can mix and match! Funny how things don't always turn out how you thought they would..
Now I am basking in that wonderful feeling I get when I have made something and it is finished and it's finally in it's place, all ready to use. I look at it with pleasure and somehow the troubles of making it and the cat's muddy paw prints are so easily forgotten...
