My name is Jane. I live in a seaside town in South Devon, England. I'm married to Anthony, a New Zealander (who kindly agrees to live in this part of the world) and we have 3 teenage children, Tom, Lucy and Alice.
Home is very important to me and there is no other place I would rather be than sitting in front of our fire or pottering around the garden. I fill our home with flowery things I find along the way - things that other people have discarded. I also spend a lot of time making things and always have a long list of projects I want to do.
I work part-time as a Teaching Assistant in a primary school; a job I feel is a privilege and thoroughly enjoy.
I began blogging in January 2006 and totally underestimated the impact it would have in my life. I have made many connections with like minded women who encourage and inspire me and my hope is that this small space would do the same to all who visit. I am very grateful for each and every comment left and do my best to reply if time allows.
