Finding this in our local library.
I squealed with disbelief (quite loudly) for this sleepy Devon library has NEVER even heard of Rachel Ashwell let alone ever had one of her books on their shelves. And to find her latest one too! I then spontaneously broke into the happy dance and by doing that accidentally pulled a few books from the shelf. Oops.The Librarian then came over to see what was going on but she was reassured that her library had just made my day and I was indeed very, very happy. She smiled and Lucy went very red. So the book came home to our Shabby home.
And what else is making me happy?
Sitting in the spring sunshine in my pink,vintage deck chair reading the book and doing my crochet.
