You'll be thinking that this blog is just about flowery stuff, Union Jacks and bunting; you may be right but humour me for just awhile longer because I do have bunting only this time it's Union Jack bunting. The best of both worlds. I came across this at Amanda's stall at Totnes Market on Friday. It wasn't the only thing I came across either..I was lucky enough to bump into Nicky (Hi Nicky!) from The Vintage Magpie. We had never met before despite living about 8 miles from each other and it was lovely to catch up.
But for now, back to the bunting. It's wonderful for a number of reasons.
Firstly, it has the flag on both sides (the red cross is stitched on) so that's one problem of mine sorted.
Secondly, the flags are not fixed and can be moved along the cord.
Which leads onto fact number three - you can easily change the cord for whatever colour takes your fancy and if you want it longer with your flags more spaced out.
I bought the last pack (they are becoming one of her best sellers) but the good news is that Amanda is getting some more, so if you would like your own little bit of patriotic love just email me at firstname.lastname@example.org I'll sort it out. They cost £23 which includes P & P anywhere in the world. It has 15 flags and it is approximately 4 metres long.
And now I promise I won't speak of bunting for at least a...well, a long time!
