I haven't even picked it up for 2 days (sob) but this is my latest tapestry that I have been doing. It will be another small cushion cover for my floral chair, whenever I can get the time (and the fabric) to make a patchwork cover. I bought it 3 years ago from Liberty in London and it has taken me all this time to start it. I'm just loving the whole portability of it as it is only 8 inches and can fit into my CK bag quite easily so I bring it out wherever and whenever I can. The rose tin is one I found at a car boot this weekend, the first in 6 weeks! Yes, you read that right..6 weeks..oh the withdrawal symptoms have been bad. Very bad.
The week is racing by and Friday will soon be upon us - the day my firstborn leaves home for university. Anth and I are taking him up and then will be visiting Bath (there's a Cath Kidston shop there!) and then on to Shepton Mallet Antiques Fair. He's a good, kind, man, my husband - knowing that after leaving Tom at Uni I may need alittle distracting and cheer and what could be better than a Cath Kidston shop?
So, I will be back on Sunday, a child down, but at the beginning of a new journey in my parenting of my oh-so-grown-up boy.
