From one thing to another

They thought they'd seen it all, my little family, and even I had to smile at my resourcefulness. It all began this week when I had another go at dyeing another piece of fabric for a lamp shade for Anth's bedside lamp. I wanted lilac and I got a lilac of sorts but it just didn't blend with his sea-green bedside table. So I was stumped, but not for long.

I remembered I bought a tiny child's skirt the other week. Why did I buy a tiny child's skirt? Well I thought it was cute and for 50p I thought I could give it to a friend who has a young daughter.

So I tried it, I liked it and what's more Anth likes it.

 

       

And it never fails to make me smile.
