March Photos ~ Day 12
As I recently have been the recipient of some lovely gifts I thought that you all deserved a little something as well. So I'm doing 3 Easter Giveaways with..now don't laugh...some cleaning cloths! Yes, cleaning cloths, but not ordinary, bog standard, boring cloths; no I wouldn't do that to you or me. No. As it's the season for a little spring cleaning what could be better than to clean your home with pretty, flowery cloths.
So, if you would like to go into the Flowery Cloth Giveaway, please leave a comment, and on Monday I will put all your names into a hat and will draw out 3 lucky winners.
We are off to Salisbury in an hour to spend our Easter celebration with my mother and Robin. We will be going to all of the services at the cathedral culminating on Easter Sunday with a 5am service to greet the sunrise and a champagne breakfast with the Bishop. I'm hoping I get just as moved by the whole experience as last time I attended a service - though the children are hoping that I don't but it's angelic sound of the choir that sends me! I'm told that each service is quite beautiful so here's hoping. We are even squeezing in a trip to Shaftesbury which I'm really looking forward to. So, we'll be back on Monday with some wonderful photographs, I hope.
I wish you all a peaceful and joyful Easter.

Hi Jane,
Sorry i havent said 'hi' sooner (i've been reading your blog for the last year or so and i love it)! We live near tavistock in devon so I always recognise the names of places that you talk about and some of the pictures too. Actually, you should try and visit Tavistock some time if you get a chance-I think you'd love it. There is a pannier market with some lovely stalls (similar to your friend Amanda) and some great charity shops for thrifting too ;) Hope you have a lovely Easter weekend x

Easter blessings from Winchester; looking forward to the passion at the cathedral on Good Friday......is there one in Salisbury? Such a special experience I'm sorry I don't leave more comments, always in such a rush but I so enjoy your blog (my tiny respite in a beautiful baby busy day!) thank you more than you know x

Happy Easter from Nova Scotia, on the other side of the pond! Oh to see Salisbury Cathedral again. We did spend Easter '78 in Durham Cathedral and it was quite wonderful. Enjoy the music!

Hi Jane,
I finally sat down and caught up on your lovely blog. I must confess that I have barely opened the laptop recently, and have missed your lovely writing and pictures. It sounds odd but I so enjoy hearing about your family and your life. I put the lack of computer down to being nearly 12 weeks pregnant (Nonnie is going to be an Aunty again!!). For some reason the very thought of the computer seemed to add to my general feeling of nausea. Anyway I am hoping that will pass soon and a new phase of Spring energy will engulf me. On that note, I do think your gorgeous cloths would help my enthusiasm for a spot of Spring cleaning. In my pregnant haze I have felt totally unmotivated to clean anything!!!! Wishing you all a very happy Easter. X

I adhore how the packaging has a vintage-y feel to it. Love that your giveaway is cleaning cloths . . . a reminder to everyone that we can find pretty in the most utilitarian of things.
Happy Easter, Jane!

Hoping you have the most wonderful and happy Easter Jane.
The cloths are adorable, I discovered these last year but I see the designs have changed, they are much nicer than the old ones I've had.
Pretty-please enter me into the draw, I would get incredibly jumping-up-and-down excited over winning cleaning cloths, really!! :o)

Even though it's Autumn (not that you'd notice with 29 degree temp. today) in Queensland, Australia, I feel the need to clean and polish since I set eyes on the pretties on your blog. I love the girly pink best. Have a lovely Easter. Joy

I never thought I'd be vying for a cleaning cloth, but hey, I never knew I would so look forward to reading someone's blog everyday either. Easter Sunday at Salisbury Cathedral - lucky you! I know what you mean about the choir. My eyes have been known to "leak" right in the middle of a church service as well. Wishing you and yours a most joyful Easter.
