March Photos ~ Day 11
Today has been scattered with gifts.
First a sweet bunch of handpicked primroses from a child in my class. So welcome and so perfect in their simpleness.
And the second was waiting for me when I arrived home. A parcel from Kathy all the way from Tunbridge, Vermont.
So welcome and so perfect in the thoughtfulness of the contents; crochet hooks and a wonderful vintage teaspoon holder in which to keep them in (a brilliant idea as mine have been rattling around in a tin.) A sweet embroidery and Maple Candy (oh the bliss) which have already been consumed by Alice and myself! Thank you, Kathy, I am thrilled and very touched.
I took some photos of the primroses in the fleeting late afternoon sun. Hope you enjoy them as much as I will, but before I leave you with the Spring goodness can I apologise for not being able to answer all your lovely comments over the last few days. I just can't keep up with things at the moment and I hope you understand. Now, are you ready for a pretty sight...here goes..

A perfectly pretty primrose posy for the 'Posy' blog!
I love the photos Jane - divine!

Oh Jane, this is so lovely. The yellow of the primeroses and the antique silver vase.
Wonderful pictures,
Sabine
PS: What´s about little robin? Is he home again or still living with you? :)

Oh Sabine, he's flown off and is back with his owner, who thankfully was unaware of my heart ripping apart!

The light in these photos is magical Jane, you have such a talent with the camera that I really admire.
Primroses are my Mums favourite flower and you have reminded me to give her a call (she lives in rural Dorset) to see if the bank down the lane is still smothered in them.
Thanks as always for inspiring me.xx

What a sweet present, they look so, so pretty displayed in glass. I was thrilled to find some primroses growing in our new garden at the weekend. What a treat!
Hope the migraine has gone and the robin brooch is a beauty. I can see why you were so delighted with him. Can't wait to see your creation, I have a special place in my heart for robins.

Beautiful pictures, you have a talent for taking photographs and seem to arrange things in such a pleasing way...it doesn't quite work the same way for me.

Jane,
I hope you are going to share your photos, and the fact that they are on your blog for the world to admire, with the student.
He/she sounds like a very special kid! The bouquet is simply beautiful.

Oh my! Tunbridge, Vermont is where I used to go to the Fair every summer with my grandmother! How neat that you got something from there! It is a beautiful place with farmland and meadows.
