March Photos ~ Day 7

Hello my friends.  Well nothing interesting to report today as I've spent the day deep in the bowels of Torquay Town Hall on a professional developement course. Oh, that doesn't really sound too good does it? Bowels. Yuck. But we were in a windowless room from 9am to 3pm. The link shows a very old photo of the Town Hall and now I look at that and think that I missed a very good photo opportunity. Oh dear, but it was raining and I'm sure that my colleagues who drove me there would think I was crazy (even more odd than they already do) if I were to take photos of the town hall in the rain!  They, and the rest of the people on the course, gave me a funny look when I took out my crochet at coffee time; and I heard someone say to the course leader, "She does this in the staff room, you know!"

On my return home I found a box from Cath waiting for me.

And in a pretty box (lid not shown!)

Perhaps, it was an interesting day after all..

What a beautiful thing to come home to :)
Very pleased to hear you don't give two ticks about what people think about crochet. I do mine anywhere, and just feel proud i have more creative flair than them ;)

I love that even the postage packaging is so very Cath - my Mum ordered some Cath for me for Christmas last year and she included the post it bag as part of the present! What a lovely surprise to come home to!

Oooh I had my eye on those mugs in the CK catalogue. My 12 year old dd had already dished out the colours for each of the family members lol.

Alarmingly charming !!!

Aww.. they're pretty! :-)

I am seriously jealous. It is so hard to get Cath Kidson here in NZ. There's one shop hidden away that is a real mission to get to and they sometimes have a few select pieces. I have to content myself with dreaming. I love your blog because it brings these things closer. Enjoy them.

I love these Cath Kidston mugs. Here in Germany we have no shop, the best way to get one of these cute things is to look at ebay. But in December we´ll going to Edingburgh for a week and I have seen in the catalogue of C.K. that there is a shop. No, this is not the only reason visiting Edingburgh, hehe...
Have a nice weekend (not so stormy)

What gorgeous cups! If only we had Cath Kidston shops in Australia. Have a lovely day. Joy

What a beautiful mugs! Love the new Cath K. print!!!

Hello there Posy. I am on the other side of the Thamar in Cornwall and we have had torrential rain too - so tired of it. off for a catch up on your blogs to cheer myself up xx

How awful being shut in a room with no windows! I've had training days like that, all it does is give you a headache!Still they say it works in wonderful ways - for being a good girl and putting up with the dull you had your beautiful Cath to come home to!!

Oh what lovely pictures, the mugs and the tablecloth both delightful.
I am a-visiting London tomorrow for the Country Living Fair (long haul form North Yorkshire and a real treat).I'm also planning on going for the first time to CK's shop. Excited?? YEAH, you bet!!!!

ps I have tentatively started my own blog after being so inspired by yours and others. Would be delighted if you'd like to bob in and have a peek. :o)x

The parcel from CK more than makes up for a rainy day in the bowels of the Town Hall - I think!

I love the C.K mugs so gorgeous, i remember getting some C.K stuff in the post earlier this year a purse and book bag, i use the bag for college for my notes, so handy and i feel so proud of it. And i just love pulling out my purse and watching people's faces, my daughters reckon i am just a show off, have been known to buy something just to show it off - that's when my daughters get really embarrassed by me. Of course the C.K packaging in the post is really important to! Enjoy the weather the wind has stopped but we have rain on and off now. It better be good for St. Patricks day!!!

LOL Marisa! Hope you have a lovely St Patrick's Day! :-)

What charming cups...pretty colors.
