This last week or two has been a constant whirl of meals and washing up; but I am leaving my kitchen sink for sinks anew on the other side of the world. Yep, it's nearly Sunday the day in which we fly out to New Zealand. And before you ask, yes, I'm still very nervous but trying my very best to be brave so's not to spoil it for Anth.
On New Year's Day we took a walk up to Haytor on Dartmoor (that's my Dad infront of me) and played the 'this Tuesday we're freezing on Dartmoor and next Tuesday we'll be sweltering in New Plymouth ' game. We love playing that game. Mmm, what's that saying...'little things please little minds'..!
So, my dear friends it's farewell until we arrive back on Saturday 26th Jan. There may be a chance I can blog whilst we are staying with certain family members, but I can't be sure. What I can be sure about is that I'll take many, many photos and keep my eyes peeled for any vintage goodness along the way. I'm sorry if I haven't been able to respond to any emails and comments over the last few days but there just hasn't been enough time. Not even enough time to slap some Johnson's Holiday Skin on my pale, pale legs! Gosh...I'm not sure those poor Kiwis will know what will hit them...see you soon.
